
Gratin dauphinois

- 1.5 kg potatoes
- 375 g crème fraîche
- 45 cl milk
- 2 eggs
- 75 g grated Gruyère cheese
- salt & pepper
Peel and finely slice the potatoes. Arrange the slices in an oven dish.
Gently beat together the cream, milk and eggs.
Pour over the potatoes and season.
Cook for 1 hour and 15 mins at 180°C (gas mark 6).
Top with the grated cheese and brown for 15 mins.
